Headed up by Executive Pastry Chef at the iconic Beverly Wilshire hotel, Chris Ford, the holiday dessert pop-up at LECLAIEUR LA in West Hollywood is a must-visit for dessert lovers this December. Set in a private residence-style gallery space on Robertson Boulevard, this pop-up dessert bar is open throughout the month of December and features a three-course dessert tasting menu inspired by the art and fashion on display in the gallery. The ever-changing menu is available to all for $65 per person.
Seasonal Tasting Menu at Maude

Helmed by celebrity chef Curtis Stone and regarded as one of the best restaurants in LA, Maude in Beverly Hills serves up seasonal tasting menus showcasing one timely ingredient throughout the entire menu. Since its opening in 2014, Maude has been acclaimed by TIME, Travel + Leisure, LA Weekly and more as a top foodie destination and this winter, Curtis Stone’s final menu of the year will highlight fresh black winter truffles, an earthy, rich and holiday season essential in peak season from December to March. The December 2017 menu will be available through the end of the month, and will be the final tasting menu from Maude until the restaurant reopens following a brief closure in early 2018. Look no further than the gourmet tea tasting at Chado in Pasadena and Downtown LA, an innovative tasting experience combining artisan teas with tea-infused dishes including a Mauritius tea ice cream float and smoked tea marinated eggs. A choice of appetizer, main and dessert starts at $27 and for an additional $13, you can accompany your meal with a hot tea tasting featuring a selection from Chado’s collection of over 300 tea flavors.

The Walker Inn, a 27-seat speakeasy in Koreatown in the back of The Normandie Club, is dedicated to the cocktail craft and is the ideal destination for those looking to ring in the holiday season with an epicurean take on classic libations. The two-hour tasting is available at three seatings every night at the bar and the menu is priced at $70 per person, changing every six to eight weeks with each season.
