Gustavo Dudamel & Yuja Wang
Photo Credit: Ian Douglas/Los Angeles PhilharmonicA lovely night at the Los Angeles Philharmonic is one of my most favorite pastimes and my last visit there did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of enjoying John Adams’ third piano concerto, Must the Devil Have All the Good Tunes?, conducted by the legendary Gustavo Dudamel and performed by the very impressive pianist, Yuja Wang. The piece was in fact created for Yuja and debuted at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on March 7, 2019. It was a riveting performance that leaves the audience completely spellbound. Read all about it in this review in the Washington Post. Make sure you have a chance to attend the LA Phil during their incredible, centennial season!
